Kentucky pastor preaches ‘BYO guns’

gunsA church pastor in the American state of Kentucky has held a special service where the congregation were invited to bring their guns.

Pastor Ken Pagano says the gathering was intended to promote safe gun ownership and celebrate the right to bear arms.

People arriving at the church had their guns checked to make sure none were loaded.

The sermon was followed by a raffle in which the first prize was a handgun.

    God I hate this country.

Ugh, unloaded weapons are useless. If you want to promote gun ownership move your congregation to a firing range and practice with them. Offering to have them at church unloaded is a hollow gesture. This is just another way religion perverts intelligent behavior, such as being prepared to protect one’s self.
